As in all service-related businesses it is common to tip the person who has done a good job to the satisfaction of the customer. Gratuities are based on the total cost of service. If you are able to enjoy a sale or special during your visit, gratuities are based on the full price of service, not the sale price. Spas usually provide an envelope at the front desk or in the room for you to place the gratuity into it with the therapist’s name. You do not have to carry money around with you and worry about this while enjoying the spa facilities.For groups of 3 and up, we add an 20% gratuity on to all services rendered. This service charge will be reflected on your bill. You are always welcome to add to this charge for services rendered. It is the policy at the Retreat to add a gratuity of 20%, on the original price of service, on all appointments that total 100 minutes in length and up, Per person.

Respecting the meditative, private and personal nature of our environment, loud conversation, cell phones, pagers and other electronic devices are not permitted inside the spa. We consider the spa a “whisper” zone.

Please remove all jewelry and watches. Unfortunately, we are not able to take responsibility for valuables that are lost or left behind.

That is your option, however, keep in mind our staff is trained to appropriately drape you for privacy. For those of you who prefer no draping at all, you MUST wear a comfortable pair of shorts!

Absolutely. This is your treatment. Communicate with the staff regarding room temperature, pressure, technique, etc. We value your feedback. In addition, at the time of booking your appointment, discuss with the associate your preferences for gentle, moderate or deep massage, male or female therapists. We customize all services to your particular needs and preferences.

It is recommended that you refrain from consuming alcohol at least eight hours prior to your Spa treatment. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the Spa.

• A Group is considered a group when there are 3 or more persons
• 20% gratuity is automatically added to the bill
• If you should cancel any appointments 5 days prior to service date, 50% of the services will be charged.
• If the group cancels any appointment 2 days prior to service date, 100% of the services will be charged.

The cancellation policy at The Retreat at Serendipity Province is 50% of treatment value when you cancel or reschedule 24 hours or less of your appointment time. If you do not cancel your appointment and are considered a no show, the charge will be 100% of your appointment value. Gift Certificates may NOT be used toward product or gratuity. There are NO REFUNDS of Gift Certificates and Gift Certificate balances will be issued as a credit on your account.
